Jewish Professor: No How To Be A Prophet


REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TEL AVIV - Schools 'Cain and Abel School for Prophet' which gives the title of 'prophet' to the graduates, condemned a number of Jews.

Hebrew University professor of Jewish thinkers Hebrew, Jerusalem, Rachel Elior questioned how ordinary people were prophets, and anyone can learn to be a prophet.

"There is no way to teach prophetic, it's like opening the school to become Einstein or Mozart," says Elior as quoted by AP.

According to Jewish belief, there are no prophets since the Romans destroyed the second Temple in Jerusalem, Solomon. And the prophetic era only to be revived when the Messiah comes and Solomon Temple back on his feet.

Prime grade school opened this month. A total of 12 students from ages 18 to 50 years of enrolling in the school.

The only teacher in the school, Shmuel Hapartzy have no Jewish background is strong. Male 34 years old is a software engineer. He Russian immigrants, and has a long beard. Day-to-day, a man who claimed initially aka atheist believe in the existence of God is wearing black clothing style ultra-Orthodox Jews.

Hapartzy've studied mysticism, Chinese philosophy, astrology, black magic and Christian sects. Until he turned to Judaism.

However, a number of people in Israel blasphemed the school. Even they accuse the school was just a fraud.

Interestingly, students also are not sure, after graduation they would become a prophet. Moreover, the Jews did not believe some people claiming to prophets.

A student, Darya Popdinitz admitted limited knowledge of the biblical prophets. Therefore, he wondered briefly attending classes at the school.

Another student, Roie Greenvald, (27) who is a tennis instructor was not sure the truth that school. "I'm not going to be a prophet," said Greenvald.
